THE SIMPLE OPTION (MOST POPULAR)
Record, mix and leave with a finished track
Each 3-hour session includes:
• Recording time in the studio
• Setup & engineering
• Mixing for ONE track
• Light mastering (session finish)
This includes final loudness, limiting, and overall balance to deliver a release-ready track straight out of the session.
It is entirely possible to walk in and leave with a finished song for £100.
This is the most cost-effective way to use the studio.
RECORDING MULTIPLE SONGS
You’re very welcome to record more than one track in a session.
But:
Mixing is only included for one song per session
Additional tracks can be mixed for:
£50 per track
EXAMPLE:
Evening session (7–10pm) → £120
Band records 5 songs
• 1 track included (mixed and lightly mastered)
• 4 additional mixes × £50 = £200
Total: £320 (for 5 finished tracks)
JUST WANT THE RECORDINGS?
No problem at all.
If you’d prefer to:
• Record multiple tracks
• Take the multitracks away
• Mix them yourself (or elsewhere)
That’s absolutely fine.
Just let me know in advance, and we’ll run the session accordingly.
INCLUDED MASTER (SESION FINISH)
All session mixes are delivered levelled and release-ready.
This includes:
• Final limiting
• Competitive loudness
• Clean overall balance
This is designed to give you a strong, ready-to-share finished track straight out of your session.
FULL MASTERING (MOST POPULAR)
For tracks requiring a more detailed final stage
• £50 per track
Includes:
• Detailed EQ and tonal shaping
• Dynamics control
• Stereo enhancement
• Problem-solving and fine detail work
Ideal for singles, EPs, and release-ready projects needing extra refinement.
MIXING & MASTERING (STANDALONE)
If you’re sending tracks over:
• Mixing • £100 per track
• Mastering • £50 per track
• Deals available for EPs / albums
HOW MANY SONGS CAN WE RECORD?
Short answer: it depends on you.
Most bands will comfortably get:
1 fully finished track per session
If you’re tight, rehearsed, and ready to go, you can record more—but:
• More songs = less time per track
• Additional mixing is charged separately
The goal is always the same:
Great performances over rushed recordings
A QUICK NOTE (IMPORTANT)
If you’re planning to record multiple songs in a session:
Please let me know beforehand
That way we can:
• Plan the session properly
• Keep things running smoothly
• Make sure you get exactly what you need out of the time
I look forward to hearing what you have in mind and being involved in your next project!
Sean

SHOWREEL:
SCARAB - NO KINGS
This track was recorded in 1 afternoon session, live, with the whole band playing together in the live room.
(With exeption of the group vocals towards the end of the song. Which was achieved by recording all 5 band members gathered around a single omni microphone.)
The drum kit is our studio Premier APK, and cymbals are the studio Sabian HHXs
The 2 guitar amps (Line 6 and Boss Katana) were each miked with a SM57 Beta. A DI was also recorded for each amp and run through additional processing.
The bass guitar was recorded with DI only and processed through a SANSAMP plugin.
The lead vocal was recorded with an SE V7 dynamic microphone, live, in the same room as the band.
The band played through the song a handful of times before landing on this great take.
Along with the live sound in the room, each band member also had a pair of studio headphones, with their own bespoke mix (mostly lead vocals for cues)
THE LINE MANAGERS - DEAD HORSE THEORY
This was a multi-track that was sent over to me (in WAV format) to mix & master.
Distress Tolerance came in to record 4 songs (2 evening sessions, plus an additional evening for mixing) They wrote a lovely review of the process (painting me in a particularly good light), so I'd be daft not to put a big orange link to that review HERE!:
This particular song was recorded live, together in one room. At the end of the session, we recorded a single take of lead vocals (the singer quite rightly thought he could beat the previously recorded version - and proceeded to belt out the version you hear here. In one additional take.
This vocal was done in the live room, with a SE V7 microphone.
Drums were the studio Premier APK, cymbals studio Sabian HHXs.
Bass was recorded with DI only.
Guitar amp was recorded with a single SM57 Beta, and a DI signal was also recorded and treated with additional processing.
Epic!
