Helping folk produce posters for their gigs since 2017.
We really appreciate posters being produced to accompany all gigs.
Along with splatting them on our own walls and front door in the weeks/months leading upto the event, we can also take them to some places around town and spam them all over Facebook.
Merely creating a Facebook Event and telling your close friends about your gig is not an option.
Posters ARE STILL king!
We're quite happy to pay to have them printed (and do, for every event we have) and it really helps us out if we can be emailed your posters, ready to go.
We know it's a ball-ache, so, in Claptrap style, have made it as easy for you, dear artiste, as poss.
These 5 things NEED to go on ALL posters:
• BAND NAME
• BRIEF DESCRIPTION/TAGLINE (VERY IMPORTANT! EVENTS WITH STYLE/GENRE ETC MENTIONED SELL TWICE AS MANY TICKETS!!)
(ALSO - it really helps to put 'For Fans Of: and list 3 popular bands of a similar ilk.)
• DATE, DOORS & TIME OF EVENT (ie THURS 5TH APRIL 2018 • DOORS 8PM • LIVE MUSIC 8:45PM. Don't forget door time.)
• PRICE (+ TICKET INFO IF REQ'D. WE'LL OBVS SORT THIS WITH YOU WHEN SORTING THE GIG)
• VENUE NAME & ADDRESS (CLAPTRAP THE VENUE • 108A HIGH ST • STOURBRIDGE • DY8 1EE)
Option 1: You DA poster man.
POSTER-LAND
We (ideally) need:
An A4 poster (210mm x 297mm). Portrait. 300dpi. CMYK.
A Facebook event poster.* (1080 x 1920 pixels). Landscape. 300dpi. RGB for digital advert and CMYK for the printers.
*We can sometimes cobble a FB Event poster from an A4, but it's obvs better if it's custom made for the job.
POSTER CHECKLIST
Option 2: The basics.
A4 POSTER:
Just an A4 poster (210mm x 297mm)
Feel free to download and drag/drop either of our logo's (below) into Photoshop, Paint, Word etc.
If you need us to help out, please send us your event/band description and any photo's/logo's you'd be happy to use.
We're in this together. We can do it. *chest bump*
