BACKSTAGE AREA
We are ALWAYS on the look out for great bands and DJs to play on our Saturday nights
If you're in an original band, or a DJ and would like to play (and know you can please a discerning Saturday night (paying!) audience), then the process is easy-peasy lemon squeezy.
1. Check our calendar (below), for an available date that you would like to play
2. Fill in our form, which asks for social links, demo's, biog, etc along with contact details
3. Get confirmation within 7 days

Doors open at 9pm, so set-up and soundcheck is required before this time if bringing your own gear / drum kit
Due to our single entrance, staircase and room size, loading in alot of large items plus the required floor-space for uncasing drums etc, is not possible when we are open to the public
If you wish to use our in-house gear (we prefer this), which is already set-up and ready to go, additional set-up (pedal boards etc) can be done during opening hours
A bit like taking hand luggage on a plane, bringing a guitar and pedal board is straight forward.
Meaning you could arrive anytime between 9pm and the start of your set at 10pm
So in practice, you could arrive at 9:30, plug in, and go
We always pay our bands a fee based on door takings from before, and up til the end of, their set, so payment relies on turnout and ticket sales
Payment is all door and ticket sales prior to the event, along with door takings up the end of the live set, minus VAT, Ticket Fees and any additional advertising fees
Payment is calculated during office hours in the week following the gig and paid via a single bank transfer
